AT THE BUZZER!!!

I heeded my own advice and spent my remaining seals on farming the BCNM "Dragon Scales". I used every seal I had and finally landed myself a copy of Foreboding Abjuration: Hands from the final chest at the end of my last run... on the last day of the event... within the last few hours before JP midnight. 

Who's happy? This guy is happy. 

Now if only I could find someone with 110 Alchemy and the desire to craft me a pair of Hexed Gages -1. This part might take me a while... but luckily... the only thing REALLY standing in my way is money and not "Luck".

This is still one of my top 5 favorite zones... for so many beautiful reasons.

The things I do for love/boredom/FFXI

So I've been logging on recently to do more than just farm the necessary requirements for my Nirvana and I have to say... I miss the old FFXI. The FFXI before the cap was raised to 99... before Abyssea... before easy mode everything. I miss needing other people around if I wanted to walk through Sea. I miss running around in the dunes to level from 11-20. I miss aspiring to own a speed belt... Or to get my hands on a Serket claim. I miss camping HNMs. I miss dying like crazy in Vanilla Dynamis. I miss the music in Sky. I miss trailing a bunch of non aggressive Mandies outside Windy. I miss camping LL without ever seeing a pair of his coveted boots.

And I DEFINATELY miss the days when killing PW was still just a myth.

Anyway... now that I've got that off my chest... It's back to farming Alex and Einherjar.

After 3 weeks worth of runs, I finally got my Seraphicaller last night. With it, my blood pact recast timer has reached its max floor once again.

Where it was once 45, it is now 37.

And where my Avatars level was once ilvl 115, it is now ilvl 119.

By my calculations, I'll be finished in around 3 months if I keep things up at my current rate.

Earning 3,000,000 a day in Gil and around 80 Alex a day in salvage should give me 380 Alex a day... 5 days a week. 

26,200 Alex divided by 380 daily Alex would mean roughly 68 days of farming... If I don't take a single day off... or slack off in the least.

Additionally: If I earned 2,000 Inchor a day doing tier 3 fights, if be done in 41 days.

The biggest time sink is likely going to be a combination of tokens and second stage assault wins. Considering both require tags, I have to pick and choose which one I do at a time. Bare minimum I figure I need 50 days to finish assault and an additional 43 days to grind out the tokens I need from Nyzul Isle.

Yay math! 

6 months... That's my deadline for myself. If I'm not done in 6 months from today, I give up and sell all my Alex.
